GSSM's Residential Program

GSSM Residential Program offers a two-year advanced curriculum with a focus on STEM studies, individualized summer research, and a variety of on-campus activities. Students must apply during the fall/winter of their sophomore year (10th grade).

GSSM's Virtual Program (Accelerate & TEAM UP)

GSSM Virtual Engineering Programs are three year programs taught via live video conferencing that prepare students for engineering majors in college. There are currently two virtual engineering programs -- TEAM UP and Accelerate. A student must apply during the fall/winter of his or her freshman year (9th grade) and participate in the program during 10th, 11th, and 12th grades.

Accelerate is a dual enrollment virtual engineering form in which students earn credits while taking courses to complete a general engineering curriculum. A list of Accelerate partner schools can be found here.

TEAM UP (Teaching, engaging, & advancing minds for undergraduate preparedness) is a virtual engineering program designed introduce students to various disciplines of engineering, through gateway courses that enable them to gain fundamental problem solving skills, understand the engineering design process, acquire STEM content knowledge and inform their decisions about college majors and professions.
